The twelfth edition of Expo Hotels and Restaurants (EXPHORE) will take place in Pedregal Events in Heredia, Costa Rica from Tuesday 19 to Thursday 22 of June, 2012. The objective of  EXPHORE is to promote the commercial development of hotels and restaurants sectors in Costa Rica and Central America.

This event will bring together key actors in the sector, where more than 200 stands will be available for national and international exhibitors.

Through “Apetito”, the magazine specializing in hotels and restaurants, and other media directly, we will launch a promotional campaign aimed to attract the largest buyers in the market.

EXPHORE is a meeting place for owners, managers, chefs and suppliers, where you can make new contacts. Attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to learn about the latest technology, products and services for restaurants and hotels, and the latest available on the market.

1.  ¿What is Exphore?

Expo Hotels and Restaurants, EXPHORE is the event organized by “Apetito”, the industry magazine dedicated to bringing together the main players in the world of hospitability in Costa Rica and Central America.

This event, considered a business center, allows providers to introduce new products, strengthen customer relationships and acquire new accounts.

Visitors can take advantage of the wide variety of suppliers to identify opportunities that will help make their business more efficient and to create closer ties with their current suppliers.

The stand includes:
-One 110 polarized power supply
-One table and two chairs
-One fluorescent lamp
-Panels plastiplay divisions
-Marquee (Labelling of stand)

-Certificate of participation.

To reserve a stand is necessary to sign the contract and pay 15% of the total amount, the remaining 85% can be paid in two tracts 75 and 45 days before the event.

Admission to exhibitors will be from one hour before the time set the public

Installation and removal
-Before setting up the stand exhibitors must provide an inventory to the Organizing Committee.
-Two points of access will be available for installation and removal.

Badges
Distinctive badges will be delivered to:
• Exhibitors
• Pre-registered Visitors
• Organizers

The badges identify each visitor by the activity of their company, three groups: Hotels, Restaurants, Business Related.

Exhibitor badges and dependents of the stand will be delivered during the assembly of the Expo.

Security

• Each exhibitor must present the list of personnel to attend EXPHORE to the Administration of Expo in advance of the inaugural date.
• Once installations are closed, at the end of each day during the event, no admittance is permitted until the Expo formally opens the next day.
• Facilities will be guarded by private security.

10.    Regulations

1. Exhibitors who wish to participate at EXPHORE must produce, represent or commercialize products that are of interest for the participants.
2. Liability. The exhibitor agrees not to present demands to the organizers or the hotel in case of loss by fire, stolen property or accidents to goods or persons during the event.
3. Security. The administration of EXPHORE will provide security with the aid of highly recognized security companies during setup of the stands, the actual Expo and removal of the stands. If the exhibitor requires additional security the administration of the event must be contacted.
4. Exhibition area. Exhibitors are no allowed to advertise, exhibit or announce outside the area assigned for the stand.  It`s no allowed to hang any kind of items from the crossbeam.  Only banners or advertisings signs less than 2 kgs could be hanged from the crossbeams.
5. Obstruction of walkways. No demonstration or activity that obstructs walkways will be permitted.
6. Damages to the building. The exhibitor is responsible for damages to the walls, floors and columns of the building, as well as damages to the property of other exhibitors or to the stands. The exhibitors cannot apply paint, varnish, adhesives or any other kind of products to the building, floor, columns or equipment of the stands.
7. Special Services. If the exhibitor requires special services in electricity, water or other services, these will be provided only if they are requested in anticipation and if the exhibitor is willing to cover the costs of installation.
8. Representatives. Each exhibitor must name representatives to be present all through the expo in the assigned stand.
9. Security and fires. All security and fire prevention regulations must be obeyed immediately. Use of fire or extremely flammable substances is strictly prohibited during the expo.
10. Music. Music within the stands is allowed as far as it does not annoy other exhibitors.
11. Installation. All exhibitors must be ready and present at the stand at the time indicated by the administration. After the opening of the expo, no installation activities will be permitted that may alter other exhibitors due to excessive noise or mobilization.
12. Insurance. Exhibitors are recommended to have insurance against theft, damages to third parties and civil responsibility during the event.
13. Noise. Music and mechanical or electric instruments that generate noise can be utilized as well as they do not annoy other exhibitors. The Administration reserves its right to determine the location and the noise level which is acceptable.
14. Conduct of the exhibitors. The distribution of samples, promotional articles, publications, sales or promotional activities are restricted to the area of the stand.
15. If the exhibitor plans to prepare foods and/or to offer tastings of foods and drinks, the personnel must wear in all moment gloves in their hands and hairnet for the hair.
